"Jill, Jill my darling! Too much Martian has rubbed off on you. Of course it wasn't funny - it was tragic. That's why I had to laugh. I looked at a cageful of monkeys and suddenly I saw all the mean and cruel and utterly unexplainable things I've seen and heard and read about in the time I've been with my own people, and suddenly it hurt so much I found myself laughing." -Robert Heinlein

There is an inherent glitch in our society, and that is us. Most times I am a puppet and a blind man, other times I stick my head in the sand as the rest of us: I do not even want to know.

Sometimes the questions are too sharp, the edges tug at me and I hurt. So I write. Writing is a way of sorting out my own thoughts - and in doing so, I think that deep down - deep down - I am asking the universe for an answer to a question I wish I didn't have.

Other times I just enjoy rambling.

We can't all be perfect?

"What is worse? To be a recovering anorectic with the weight of the world in your arms, or to display the structural straitjacket on the outside - show the rest of us how wonderfully strict and precise your thoughts and discipline are by displaying the hollow grooves in your collar bones?"

I (try to) collect most of my articles here. I still have a "back log", but I will do my best to gather links my published articles and blog posts (more or less resembling articles, he he) here:
